PRIVACY STATEMENT
Use of Personal Information
To serve you better and understand your needs as an aircraft owner, Savvy Aircraft Maintenance Management (SAMM) collects minimal personal information but gives you notice and obtains your consent before doing so. For example, when you sign up for SAMM’s services we obtain certain personal information from you, notably your credit card number, address, email address and telephone number(s). This information is kept on a secure server and is only used by SAMM personnel for the purpose of opening your account and providing SAMM’s services to you once the account is open. Your credit card number is not shared, sold or in communicated to any other company beyond using it to open or renew your account with SAMM. Access to your contact information is limited to SAMM personnel and account managers and the aircraft service centers that do examinations, inspections and/or maintenance on your airplane, at your consent. SAMM will not share or communicate this information with any other third parties unless it is to (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of police and governmental authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (iii) help prevent fraud or to enforce or protect the rights and properties of SAMM.
Aircraft Liability Insurance Information
SAMM also requires that you provide with the identity of your aircraft insurance carrier and that you name us as an additional insured on your aircraft liability policy. We do not share, communicate, sell or provide information regarding your aircraft insurance outside of SAMM. SAMM will not share or communicate this information with any third parties unless it is to (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of police and governmental authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (iii) help prevent fraud or to enforce or protect the rights and properties of SAMM.
Aircraft Logbooks
As a part of the service provided by SAMM we require that you provide us with a current electronic copy of your aircraft logbooks and keep the copy we have up to date. These records are maintained on secure server and access to them is only granted to SAMM personnel and account managers and service centers that you authorize to perform examinations, inspections and/or maintenance on your airplane. SAMM will not share or communicate this information with any other third parties unless it is to (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of police and governmental authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (iii) help prevent fraud or to enforce or protect the rights and properties of SAMM.
Password Protection
To protect your privacy and security, SAMM takes reasonable steps to verify the identity, such as requiring a password and user ID, before granting access to your data.
Security
SAMM takes seriously the trust you place in us. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, SAMM utilizes appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect.
When collecting or transferring sensitive information such as credit card information we use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The personal information you provide us is stored on computer systems located in controlled facilities which have limited access. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as credit card number or password) over the internet, we protect it through the use of encryption.
SAMM takes all reasonable steps to protect you, including obtaining only limited personal information from you, limiting access to the information we obtain and using secure servers to maintain it. Nevertheless, SAMM cannot accept liability for loss of personal information due to circumstances beyond our control such as Acts of God and criminal activity such as sophisticated hacking.

If we change our privacy statement, we will post the revised statement here, with an updated revision date. If we make significant changes to our statement, we may also notify you by other means, such as sending an email or posting a notice on our home page.
